When people come to visit Los Angeles and start telling me about all these places that people & friends have told them are MUST-HAVE places to visit it makes me wonder how much of that is simply because of that good 'ol L.A. hype or down-right amazing food!
From going to "The Ivy Restaurant" on Robertson Blvd to "Pink's" on La Brea, there is always a list of must-go-to restaurants. In asking my friends though that really look for the good food rather than the hype have had a different list of must-go-to places. More like little holes in the wall.
As much as I love going out and eating great food I guess I can call myself somewhat boring in that subject. I tend to always go to the same places. Which generally isn't a bad thing BUT there are so many other amazing restaurants in Los Angeles. The truth of the matter is being that I've worked in retail for so long, there's a level of customer service that I always look for when I go to any restaurant. It could be fancy or it cool be chill and casual, but I like seeing when the wait-staff do their job right. And I'm not talking about that patronizing tone but smiling and greeting you when you walk in is a great way to start =)
I hope this blog inspires me to venture a little more!!
